Once again, compliments of the season and I wish you a happy New Year!
We have said goodbye to year 2014.
I encourage each parishioner of SJC and RCC to make a huge impact in your respective parishes this year and inspire our community to grow in unity and love.
Ask yourselves, “How can I serve better today?” Here is a thought on how you can serve and build our Parish community:
Serve one person today. “Do for one what you can’t do for all”. Make a conscious effort to talk to someone new at least once a week particularly when you come for Sunday Mass. Engage in deep conversation especially with lapsed Catholics or with a stranger or someone from another faith. It is a way of taking personal responsibility for sharing the Gospel with family, friends and neighbours.
Reach out to people. Love people. Spend time with families. Work hard. Engage in deeper fellowship with the community. Enjoy reading the Word of God. Focus on enhancing family life. Live out the Joy of the Gospel. Cheer up your Parish!
God has uniquely placed you in our parish community and He wants you to be part of the Body of Christ to carry out the vision and mission of the Parish.
May our families pray together, stay together and reach out to others in a spirit of fraternal love, and may its solidarity never be jeopardized. God bless! You and Your family.
