The Rite of Acceptance was celebrated by Father Frederick Joseph on November 30th at the 6:00 pm mass at St. Joseph Church. He warmly welcomed the candidates from the Church of Risen Christ.
The church was filled with joy and anticipation as nine candidates from St. Joseph Church and six from the Church of the Risen Christ participated in the rites.
Before the Rite of Acceptance, the candidates underwent a period of preparation, studying the Catholic faith and learning about the Church’s teachings.
The rite was a moment of great joy and celebration, as the Church welcomed the candidates with open arms. The knocking and opening of the door symbolized the candidates’ desire to seek God and their willingness to enter into a deeper relationship with God. It marked the beginning of a spiritual journey that will lead them to full communion with the Catholic Church.
