My Journey of “FAITH” began in kindergarten. It was an amazing journey with my friends, teachers and Christ. As I matured yearly I also grew spiritually. Learning about my Catholic faith was sweet but at times hard too. I learnt to genuinely appreciate my friends and teachers who journeyed with me in our faith progression.
Week after week I would keenly look forward to Sunday school and ensuring that before I left class I had become closer to Christ. When I reached Form 5, I became eager to receive confirmation. I began to cherish my Sunday School life realising that it would be ending soon.
It was in Confirmation Camp that my life changed entirely. While reciting the “Prayer of Deliverance” I felt Christ and experienced The Holy Spirit in me. It was at the moment I recited “Lord, I’m done with living like this. I surrender myself to you. Use me as an instrument of your love. Take care of me as your property and possession” and when I sung the song “Renew me O Lord” that my life became permanently anchored to “Christ”. My perspective of life became more beautiful. I could see the wonders “God” was working in my life. Wow! How Great “Our Lord” is!
Being a Catholic is not about being holy. But about knowing our scriptures, defending our faith with the scriptures & touching the life of others by OUR faith.
All glory and praise to The “Lord Almighty” and The Ever Amazing.
