WALK TO FEED-MALAYSIA FOOD BANK.
27TH APRIL 2019
Goodwill Walk Batu was organised by Malaysia Food bank and was led by Member of Parliament Batu, Y.B. P. Prabakaran. Malaysia Food bank is an independent voluntary body that provides humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters, sheltering the homeless, feeding the vagabonds, preserving and protecting the environment and caring for the abused animals not only in Malaysia but throughout the world.
They humbly welcome people from all walks of life young and old to join in their mission to eliminate hunger and to build a loving and compassionate society. Bro. John Baptist and I from Eagle’s Wing Ministry (EWM) together with Bro. Selvam and family participated in the Good Will Walk Batu. It was a 3.5 km walk around Sentul. Along the way we visited four houses of worship. They were the Buddhist temple, Sivan temple, Masjid Jamek ,Gurdhwara and St. Joseph Church. The Gudhwara served breakfast for the participants. The religious leaders of the respective house of worship prayed and gave their blessings.
At the finishing point, we were presented with a certificate as a token of appreciation. The main objective of this event is to create awareness and to raise funds for the Malaysia Food bank.
We were very happy to be a part of the Goodwill Walk.
WILL TO WALK, WILL TO SHARE, WILL TO CARE.
