Some experiences last for a moment, while others leave footprints in our
hearts forever. That is what we experienced on our 3-day Confirmation Camp.
What we thought would be just another camp turned out to be a life changing
journey for us. They said ‘expect the unexpected’ and they were definitely
right.(Kesmitta)
From the very first day, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter
and anticipation. Although many of us knew each other, the camp gave us an
opportunity to truly connect. Walls that were in the way finally were broken
which gave us time to spend time with one another.(Thashaendraa)
One of the greatest blessing was getting closer to the one’s we barely spoke to
before. Through team activities, heartfelt conversations, and shared
experiences, strangers gradually became friends, and friends became family.
Every smile, every joke, and every challenge we faced together strengthened
the bonds between us. Even some misunderstandings that happened in the
past were resolved because of this amazing adventure.(Yamitra)
However, the camp was much more than building friendships. Through
inspiring talks, prayers, worship sessions, and personal reflections, we
developed a deeper relationship with God. We learned valuable lessons about
forgiveness, kindness, trust, and the importance of living according to God’s
purpose. My faith became stronger, and we realized that God is always present,
even during life’s most difficult moments. (Thashaendraa)
The final day however will be a day we can never forget. It was an emotional
rollercoaster for most of us especially when everyone started to voice out their
problems. Personally, in my opinion, I don’t cry that easily especially Infront
anyone but that day was when I broke down really hard. The person that
returned from that camp was definitely a changed person.(Kesmitta)
Looking back, we can conclude that that was the best 3 days we have
experienced. Now, we can proudly state that it was not just a Confirmation
Camp but a journey that transformed all of us inside and out. So much has
changed in my life since then and we will forever be grateful. Some memories
fade with time, but this is one that will remain with me forever because,
sometimes, three days are all it takes to change a lifetime.(Yamitra)
