Confirmed in Faith, sent in Mission – Church of St. Joseph, Sentul

Some experiences last for a moment, while others leave footprints in our hearts forever. Our Confirmation journey is one of those memories that will be cherished for a lifetime. What we thought would be just another camp turned out to be a lifechanging journey. They said “expect the unexpected” — and they were right. (Kesmitta)
From the very first day of the three day Confirmation Camp, the atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and anticipation. Although many of us knew each other, the camp gave us an opportunity to truly connect. Walls that once stood between us were broken down, allowing us to spend time together in new and meaningful ways. (Thashaendraa)

One of the greatest blessings was drawing closer to those we had barely spoken to before. Through team activities, heartfelt conversations, and shared experiences, strangers gradually became friends, and friends became family. Every smile, every joke, and every challenge we faced together strengthened the bonds between us. Even misunderstandings from the past were resolved because of this extraordinary adventure. (Yamitra)
Yet the camp was more than friendship alone. Through inspiring talks, prayers, worship sessions, and personal reflections, we deepened our relationship with God. We learned lessons of forgiveness, kindness, trust, and the importance of living according to His purpose. Our faith grew stronger, and we realised that God is always present, even in life’s most difficult moments. (Thashaendraa)
The final day of camp was unforgettable. It was an emotional time, especially when everyone began to voice their struggles. For some, it was the first time tears flowed openly, a sign of hearts being touched and lives being changed. The person who returned from that camp was not the same as the one who arrived — we were transformed. (Kesmitta)

As the camp drew to a close, misunderstandings and differences were left behind. New friendships were built, and memories were formed not only among the confirmands but also with those who guided us. It was a bittersweet ending, reminding us how deeply these bonds mattered. Those tears were not of sadness alone, but proof of the love, care, and memories we had shared. Then came the day we had been preparing for — Confirmation. It was a beautiful celebration filled with joy, pride, and gratitude as we took this important step in our faith. Standing together, surrounded by our families, catechists, and parish community, we realized how far we had come and how much we had grown, both spiritually and personally. Even amidst the joy, there was a quiet sadness in our hearts. We knew that after this milestone, we would each begin new chapters of our lives and slowly go our separate ways. It was difficult to imagine not seeing each other every week as we had for so many years. Yet we also knew that the friendships, lessons, and
faith we had built together would never fade, no matter where life takes us. Looking back, we can proudly say that these eleven years have been nothing short of extraordinary. From our first catechism lessons to the unforgettable camp and the joyful celebration of Confirmation, every step has shaped us into the people we are today. Though this chapter has ended, its impact will remain with us forever. We may walk different paths now, but we will always be connected by the memories we created, the faith we strengthened, and the journey we shared together. Once a Confirmation class, always a family.
