A SPIRITUAL COMMISSION TO WITNESS CHRIST
This weekend, we celebrate the great feast of Pentecost, the birthday of the Universal Church and the coming of the Holy Spirit. Pentecost arrives fifty days after Easter and ten days after the Ascension of the Lord. As we celebrate Pentecost, it is good to once again renew our commitment as disciples of Christ, preaching....[Read more]
REMAINING STRONG IN FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE
When the Coronavirus started to spread throughout the world, we never expected our Churches and other houses of worship to be affected to such a degree, where houses of worship were forced to close, and that too, for such a long period of time. It has been a trying time for many of us,.....[Read more]

REMEMBERING MOTHERS THIS MAY
The Movement Control Order (MCO) was nullified and a Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) was implemented effective 1 May 2020. STAY AT HOME AND STAY FIRM WITH THE LORD
When we began the season of Lent 2020, the Church reminded us about the sacred 40 days of the Liturgical Year when we prepare ourselves for the celebration of the Paschal Mystery – Jesus’ Passion, Death and Resurrection. However, since the Coronavirus outbreak, many activities, events and Masses have been suspended in our churches. Initially, we were just instructed and recommended to remove the Holy water...[Read more]

PASTORAL LETTER 17 MARCH 2020
PRAYER TO MARY
DURING CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus' pain, keeping your faith firm. You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to the joy of the resurrection. Amen.
Under your protection, we seek refuge, Holy Mother of God. Do not disdain the entreaties of we who are in trial, but deliver us from every danger, O glorious and blessed Virgin. (Pope Francis).

A TRADITIONAL PRAYER OF
(This can be prayed if you find yourself at Mass unable to receive the Eucharist, or even in the midst of your daily work, lifting up your thoughts to God).
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.

KEEPING OUR FAITH FIRM THROUGH TRIALS
Easter is only four weeks away. However, everyone seems to be more concerned about the current Coronavirus pandemic and also the “backdoor government” that creep ed in un-democratically to govern our nation. Personally, I am upset over this undemocratic party politics as they have done a great injustice to all voters of....[Read more]

HISTORY OF ST. JOSEPH’S CHURCH
The history of St. Joseph's Church in Sentul is made up of events that shaped its growth as a Church. The primary event that shaped Sentul was the construction of the Central Railway Workshop in 1903, by the Federated Malay States (FMS) Railways. The British Government approved the Central Railway Workshop to be built in Sentul because of its strategic location in the Malay Peninsular.
