Our late Fr. Thomas was a frequent visitor to my humble home in Sentul. He had visited my home very often and it was normally after 9.00 pm. He was gifted with music. I enjoyed participating in all his Masses. He celebrated Masses with more solemn and meaningful. His homilies were very touching and they were applicable to our daily life. He was a great fund raiser and builder. He took responsibility to build Saint Joseph’s Community Center for the Human Development in 1987. The most that I admire about him is, his passion of praying over the elder and sick parishioners.
He had shared with us a few testimonies of his involvement in exorcism. He said that he always fasted and prayed before he could exercise it. I would like to share an incident that took place in my house. A German man who was staying in my house, had a peculiar disease and he too was possessed by an evil spirit. One day Fr. Thomas came to my house to pray over him. My husband told me to go to bed earlier and the rest who were present in my house stayed awake. I didn’t know what had happened during the exorcism but the next morning my husband explained the whole scenario of how Fr. Thomas drove out the evil spirit from the man. Eventually, he too was healed after sometime.
He was a true shepherd. May his soul rest in peace!
