Our 2025 Confirmation journey began in February with the formation of a Confirmation Parents Committee. The committee was truly getting into the preparation for their kids with so much of love and dedication, with their support—and the dedication of catechists and families—our confirmands were guided through months of faith formation, prayer, and preparation.
A highlight was the Confirmation Retreat at the Infant Jesus Covent, Port Dickson, where the candidates deepened their relationship with God and one another.
The journey culminated in a joyful Confirmation Mass on Sunday, 13 July 2025 at 9.00 am. There were 58 confirmands from the parishes of St. Joseph Church Sentul, Risen Christ Church – Jalan Ipoh, as well as Zomi Myanmar Community. It was a multilingual celebration presided by his Grace Archbishop Julian Leow and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Frederick Joseph, Msgr. James Gnanapragasam and Rev. Fr . John Kelvin.
After the mass there was a thanksgiving lunch and it concluded with the presentation of Confirmation certificates. It was truly a celebration of faith & community with guidance of the Holy Spirit.
